Australia Day and it is HOT

Yeah I know...Australia Day has past and tomorrow is even the starting of February already hey time flies very quick.
Well, I still would like to share my Australia Day 2010. It is on 26th January to be exact and everybody as a typical Australian which I am becoming to be, we BARBQing.. yes grilling as you may know..with sausages and onions.

My friends and I were preparing this event for about two weeks. Well, for the food is like 3 days before. Everyone had their chores. Which mine is making lemongrass porkchop. We had marinated scotch fillet, chicken satay, cocktail sausage, russian salad and onions. Of coz not to be missed is DRINKS.
Some of my friend already arrived in the Pyrmont Park at around 8am to get the spot as it is FREE. So once others included me arrived at 10ish am, we started cooking.
BUT the sun was striking hot, and we had to cook with the umbrella next to us. You could feel the sun was burning my feet and hand. So did my friend.

However, the feast started.
It all started with the chicken satay that made all of us full just like that with the additional of russian salad OMG its awesome. So most of them not ended up eating the porkchop and the beef.. SO SAD~
Look how many were left.

Anyway, we had a wonderful lunch and watching people fishing and playing their remote control car its just cool.

After all the joy and fun, one news came and shocked us. One of my friend had a car accident, just the car basically thank God. But it took him nearly half day just to solve it and do the insurance thing. But we wished him well and waited for him at the Karaoke Club.

Yes..we did unsuprisingly. After a while of discussion of which K club we were going to go so we decided to go to Green Box Plus K Club in George St. We had spent like 3 hours singing our hearts out.

After the singing contest, we decided to go home as we still have to WORK again the next day~ SO LAME ey. But I encountered these cute old buses. It should be the old time in Sydney the buses were look like. They offered free shuttle around the city. I should have take a ride but time did not allow me. So just pictures as rememberance.

xoxo
